Heather Ann Whetzel Bissegger

On Saturday January 31st we attended the "closing ceremonies" for Heather. It was a beautiful service. I have never attended a service and seen so many flowers. At the end of the service, Jeff, her husband, commented for people to take flowers because there were just too many to leave at her graveside. As her husband dedicated her final resting place, all of the children in attendance released pink balloons with messages to Heather on them up in the air...It was a very touching day, one that will not be forgotten. Rest in Peace Heather, We Love You.

R- I was glad to see your name come up on my blog. It's nice to see good friends again. I'd love to catch up with you on this crazy trip we call life! I just wanted to say how I admire the strength of Heather. I have seen the effects of ALS in my work and know how hard it is. I hope that you and your family can have peace and comfort in knowing that her body is free again. I'll email you soon. Take Care, Jamie
